On Friday 20th May, we were visited by world-famous author Cressida Cowell and Margaret Greenwood MP to see the impact our life-changing library has had in promoting reading for pleasure. Cressida was so impressed with how the children talked enthusiastically about the books they have borrowed from the library and how Mr McGregor had highlighted that the library has had a positive impact on attainment across the school.

A huge thank you to Cressida for coming to visit us, the children who worked with her and to Miss Milligan and Mrs Davies for the commitment to ensure reading for pleasure at Woodchurch C of E is the very best it can be.
